Factjaja looked into the claim and found it to be fabricated. There have been no changes to the school opening schedule issued by the Ministry of Education and Sports. According to the official school calendar, Term III will run from Monday, 14 September 2026, to Friday, 4 December 2026, for 82 days for all primary and secondary schools across the country.
