4. Mistakes and Updates
   We strive for accuracy but remain open to corrections when new evidence emerges. Updates and corrections are clearly labeled and explained.

Corrections Policy

FactJaja values feedback from our audience. If an error is identified, we promptly review and correct it. Corrections are highlighted in the report with a “CORRECTION” or “UPDATE” label, along with an explanation of the change.

How We Rate Claims

Our fact-checking team, comprising experienced professionals, evaluates claims based on the best available evidence. Each claim is reviewed by the fact-checker and two editors, with ratings determined through consensus or majority vote.

Rating Categories:

Hoax: A deliberate fabrication presented as truth.

True: The claim is accurate and supported by evidence.

False: The claim is inaccurate based on available evidence.

Unproven: Insufficient evidence to confirm or refute the claim.

Misleading: Elements of the claim are accurate but presented in a misleading manner.

Exaggerated: The claim overstates the facts.

Understated: The claim understates the facts.

Checked: Multiple claims have been verified.
