Following the tragic and sudden death of Uganda Businessman Rajiv Ruparelia along Kampala-Entebbe Express Highway, false information has been widely shared online by several social media users claiming for a massive Crack on the fly over bridge.
Factjaj Fact Checking Team has investigated the origin of the circulating image and found that the claim is misleading.
Using Google Reverse Image Search, we traced the viral photos to a completely different location—the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Nigeria. These images were originally published by Nigerian media outlets Check here and other online users criticising the condition of infrastructure in parts of Nigeria.

To further verify, Factjaja analyzed the license plates visible in some of the images using VINCheck, and confirmed they bore Nigerian registration marks, not Ugandan ones.
In addition, no official reports or credible news sources have confirmed any link between the viral image and the Kampala–Entebbe Expressway and the claim is marked Misleading.
This article is part of Factjaja’s ongoing efforts to investigate and verify content flagged as potential misinformation across social media platforms.
